My glass art has many times quite experimental nature. I want to find interesting interfaces where the aesthetics of glass meet visual arts, or where they even concretely merge into hybrid works of painting and sculpture.

Cast glass is the main material and method in my sculptures. The allure of moulded glass derives from the combination of a heavy material and a visual lightness. Sometimes glass is also combined with other materials creating interesting contrasts or harmony. When working with blown glass I cooperate with professional glass blowers to reach the professional quality in the pieces. Whenever possible, I use recycled glass in my glass sculptures, which brings a contemporary and sustainable dimension to the works.
